Course Description:

Wilderness Safety Systems offers a seven day (70hr) Rigging for Rescue seminar. Skills are demonstrated and practiced throughout the day the schedule remaining flexible to account for weather conditions.

Prerequisite:

This course is open to all individuals who have a solid understanding of rope work technologies and are willing to share in a collective base of rope work knowledge.

  • Litter handling techniques and A-frames
  • Misconceptions about rope stretch and peak force
  • Useful rope rescue physics principles
